Essay - Life in Lockdown


                                                In early 2020, a new virus began to catch the headlines and no one thought of it being a cause of the world to come to a standstill. From the early information, we got to know this transmits very easily, and to prevent the transmission we have to wear masks and maintain physical distancing.

                                                



                                                Later a term came out which was 'Lockdown', earlier I was very unaware of the term but when it was imposed by the government it made me feel discontent. Moreover, it also hampered our academic studies which were running very smoothly at that time, and due to this, our studies came inside the mobile. Finally, the news of full lockdown came until the end of March, which was shocking news for everyone.



                                                  In such conditions when I was not having any live classes or interactive classes it was almost impossible for me to score good marks and due to this reason, my first exam was not so good despite attending all the online classes. At home, I used to pass my time by reading books that include some storybooks and autobiographies of great people, which also inspired me to do something good for people and society and gave me much courage to get rid of my loneliness. Besides this, I used to attend my online classes and make notes for boosting my studies. Furthermore, I spent time making youtube videos, which was a new skill developed by me during the lockdown.

 


                                                    Sometimes when I would be in a lonely state at that moment I used to remember my school friends and my happy moments which gives me a smile and pleasure and therefore, I used to draw them. Moreover, I spent much time with my younger brother gossiping and playing with each other, and we also used to watch tv in which web series was my favorite and my brother loved watching cartoons. In this way, we would spend every evening of the lockdown. Finally, at night, our whole family used to sit together and discuss some special moments of their life and this was my everyday routine in the lockdown.
